Join a leading social housing contractor in a hands-on role helping to prepare homes for new tenants across South Birmingham. This Cleaner position offers the opportunity to work on a major Birmingham City Council contract, ensuring properties are clean, safe, and ready for residents to move into. This is a 4-week temporary contract, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working independently. You'll be working across a variety of residential properties including houses, flats, and bungalows, carrying out thorough cleans following refurbishment works. We'd love to hear from anyone with a background as a Cleaner, Domestic Assistant, Property Cleaner, Facilities Cleaner, Housekeeper, Environmental Operative, or anyone with experience cleaning residential or commercial properties. As a Cleaner, you will be: Carrying out deep cleans of residential properties following refurbishment works Cleaning kitchens, worktops, bathrooms, toilets, and internal living spaces Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and preparing properties to a high standard Cleaning internal windows and ensuring all areas are move-in ready Travelling between approximately two properties per day across South Birmingham Maintaining health and safety standards whilst working on-siteI'd love to speak to anyone who has: Previous cleaning experience within domestic, commercial, social housing, or facilities environments A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards The ability to work independently and manage their workload effectively Good communication skills and a positive attitudeKey requirements for this Cleaner role: Full UK Driving Licence (ideally with no points or bans) Access to your own vehicle (please advise if a company van would be required) DBS clearance preferred, although not essential as a DBS application can be processed at offer stage Availability to start immediatelyThe role is offering the following benefits: 4-week temporary contract Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 4:30pm) Immediate start available Opportunity to work on a major social housing contract Varied role working across multiple properties Supportive team environmentThis role is offering an umbrella rate of £13.00 - £14.00 per hour.
