We are a friendly, community-focused pharmacy in Acocks Green, and we’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Delivery Driver / Caretaker to join our team. You will deliver prescriptions to local patients and help keep the pharmacy clean and tidy. Key Responsibilities Deliver prescriptions safely and on time Provide a polite, respectful, and professional service Handle medications responsibly and maintain confidentiality Look after a company electric van (clean, charged, well‑maintained) Report any vehicle or safety issues promptly Carry out basic caretaking and cleaning tasks Assist with light maintenance when needed Follow all pharmacy procedures and health & safety guidelines Essential Requirements Full, clean UK driving licence Good knowledge of Acocks Green and surrounding Birmingham areas Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Able to work independently and manage daily routes Responsible attitude towards vehicle care Desirable (Not Essential) Experience as a delivery driver, pharmacy driver, caretaker, or similar Experience supporting elderly or vulnerable customers Local applicants strongly preferred What We Offer Monday–Friday only (no weekends) 30 hours per week with consistent daily shifts Company electric van provided Training and ongoing support Friendly, professional, community-based team A role where reliability and good customer service are genuinely valued Why Work With Us?     The temporary religious worker will undertake NON-PASTORAL work and SUPPORT the Religious activities of the Mosque, and ASSIST the Head Imam (Minister of Religion) by conducting Religious Work as and when required. This is NOT a pastoral role and duties will NOT include leading a congregation. Applicant must adhere to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jammah, Barelvi and be able to perform religious duties according to a high standard. Must be hardworking, able to work under pressure, and work in a team. Must be highly motivated and confident. Must have excellent Arabic & Urdu, reading and writing skills. The religious worker will engage and participate in: Organising the Iqamat and call to prayer, in accordance with Sharia. Assisting & supporting in arranging special services, like Ghiyarvi, Mawlid, Khatham Shareef and other religious functions. Will be responsible for performing non-pastoral duties in a religious order. Co-operating with other co-workers, support them if needed. The candidate must have more than 5 years of previous experience at a Mosque as a religious worker. The candidate must have sufficient knowledge and skills to support & assist the head Imam. And have completed dars e nizaami, competent. You must have the relevant skills to perform Quranic recitation, read and explain Arabic text in accordance with the Mosque’s daily programme. Duties: To assist & support the Head Imam (Minister of religion), as and when required, organising the Iqamat and call to prayer by reciting prayers during prescribed salah times, khatham services and blessings. On occasion, you may be required to recite Quranic verses and litanies at devotees’ homes and during functions. Required Skills: Completed Dars e Nizaami, proficiency in Arabic & Urdu. Minimum 3 years of experience as a religious worker Benefits include full board and lodgings
