Oversee the operations of a specific section of the kitchen, managing workflow, timing, and coordination with other sections to ensure smooth and efficient service. Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's quality standards in taste, presentation, and consistency, paying close attention to detail and plating aesthetics. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in your section, adhering strictly to food safety regulations (HACCP) and internal brand standards. Monitor stock levels, ingredients, and equipment in your section, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and minimal wastage. Identify and report any operational issues, equipment faults, or quality concerns to the sous chefs to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
