We’re looking for someone calm, sociable, enthusiastic, confident, creative, and well-organised, with the ability to produce engaging content across a range of media channels and build strong relationships with stakeholders to boost community engagement and fundraising. You’ll also provide hands-on support: loading equipment, preparing event packs, collecting and distributing food, and gathering information for funding applications and reports to the Board of Trustees. While the role is primarily focused on communications and general administration on behalf of the charity, it’s varied and active; you’ll regularly support events and be willing to get stuck in wherever needed. Regular evening and weekend work will be required as part of the LGP events and community support. A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving the charity van. Although exceptional candidates without one may still be considered based on other strengths. Meet the Protection Sales Team We’re a growing team of almost 30 dedicated Protection Advisors, led by two experienced Sales Managers. Backed by a vibrant culture and a clear sense of purpose, we’re focused on delivering the right protection solutions for every client. Our work spans Life Insurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness Cover, and Family Income Benefit. With access to a large panel of providers, we tailor each recommendation to suit individual needs- no off-the-shelf policies here. All our leads come exclusively from our 75+ Mortgage Advisors, so we’re always speaking to customers who are already engaged and open to advice. How we work We keep things flexible but structured to make sure we’re there when our customers need us. Our Protection Advisors work a 39 hour week, on 3 shift patterns to align with our opening hours and a 1 hour lunch break. You will have a set weekly rota made up of the below shifts. (Usually 2 Early shifts and 1 x Mid , 1x Late) • Early - 9am-6pm, • Mid - 10am-7pm, • Late- 11am-8pm We keep it fair, balanced, and always aim to work smarter - not longer. What will you be doing? • Picking up live transfers and pre-booked calls from our fantastic team of Mortgage Advisors, • Arranging protection reviews with our customers both new and existing, by contacting them and helping them to recognise the need for protection products., • Conducting in-depth reviews of customers protection needs, especially in relation to protecting their mortgage, by exploring current provision and agreeing future aims., • Provide advice and recommend the best protection products for the customers personal circumstances., • Be a wealth of knowledge on the protection marketplace (income protection, life cover and critical illness) so you can ensure the customer gets the right products at the best price., • Complete Insurance applications and medical questionnaires, • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation, • Producing insurance quotes and issuing policy documentation and Liaising with underwriters to ensure the best possible outcome for the client.
