As a Caravan Bar Manager you will be responsible for; • Delivering our 'Caravan of Love' style of customer experience with your team and serving up our 'well-travelled' food and drink, which is inspired by flavours from our founders' native New Zealand, as well as their global travels., • Working with your General Manager and Head Chef to nurture and develop your team., • Your own learning in order to develop your knowledge and skills and take ownership of your role and your restaurant., • We work with Fourth, FnB and Harri so it would be great if you have experience with these systems, although we can always show you the ropes if you haven't., • Follow all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures., • Welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations, and serving our well-travelled drinks that delight our guests., • Training and development of key team members., • Guide, coach, and support teams during service, to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than simply delivering back-to-back massage treatments. We’re looking for a therapist who is interested in understanding why clients are experiencing pain or movement problems and helping them progress through treatment, rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance. The Role You’ll work with a varied client base, ranging from people dealing with everyday aches, pains and postural issues through to gym-goers, runners and recreational and professional athletes. Depending on your qualifications and experience, your role may include: • Sports massage and deep tissue massage, • Injury assessment and treatment, • Movement and postural assessment, • Rehabilitation and corrective exercise, • Mobility and movement sessions, • Strength and conditioning-based rehabilitation, • Developing rehabilitation programmes, • Supporting clients returning to training and sport, • Ongoing maintenance and injury-prevention treatment, • Providing excellent client education and aftercare You’ll be responsible for managing your own clients while working as part of the wider LMM team. What We’re Looking For We want someone who is passionate about what they do and genuinely wants to continue developing as a therapist. You should be: • Professional, reliable and organised, • Friendly, confident and comfortable communicating with clients, • Passionate about health, movement, rehabilitation and performance, • Able to build strong long-term relationships with clients, • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team, • Willing to learn and develop your clinical skills, • Proactive about building and maintaining your client base, • Committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service Experience is valuable, but equally important to us is your attitude, personality and willingness to learn. Qualifications Applicants should hold a recognised qualification relevant to the position, such as Sports Massage, Sports Therapy or a similar therapy qualification. Additional qualifications or experience in rehabilitation, personal training, strength & conditioning, corrective exercise or movement assessment would be beneficial.
