    We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Cheshire Oaks. Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it's important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen. ++Salary offer of up to £17.00 per hour++ ++is made up of an hourly base of £13.91 plus earnings received through tronc.++ Who and what is Pho?     Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. The successful candidate will take ownership of a designated section, producing consistent, high-quality dishes in line with our menus and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic and creative kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of your designated section (e.g. larder, pastry, sauce, grill), • Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standard, in line with Fallen Angel's recipes and specifications, • Ensure all food preparation is carried out in a timely and efficient manner during service, • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards in accordance with current legislation, • Monitor and manage stock levels within your section, minimising waste and reporting shortages to the Sous Chef, • Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen staff and commis chefs, • Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service at all times, • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development and daily specials, • Ensure your section is clean, organised and ready for service at all times, • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie looking to step up, • Formal culinary qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred, • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum), • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality food, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required What We Offer • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, • A creative and supportive kitchen environment, • Opportunities for career progression within Fallen Angel, • Staff meals on duty, • Ongoing training and development, • A chance to be part of a unique and exciting dining concept
