This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities. This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit. The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-10 hours. We are supporting an independent inspection company who deliver high quality statutory LOLER examinations of lifts through strong engineering expertise, attention to detail and clear communication with customers. They now have an immediate requirement for an Engineer Surveyor to join their growing business. This is a home based or office based role depending on location, and the successful candidate will travel to customer sites across Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset with some occasional travel to Greater London, Kent, Home Counties, M4 Corridor and Devon. Candidates living in or close to the following locations are of particular interest: Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Blandford, Basingstoke, Fareham, Portsmouth, Yeovil and Bovington. Engineer Surveyor Requirements: Mechanical engineering experience within an inspection, maintenance, service, repair or fault finding environment. Strong communication skills and confidence working in a client facing role. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality reports. Able to work independently and manage your own workload without close supervision. Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces. Full UK driving licence. This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit. The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-10 hours.
