Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Requirements: ● A relevant degree or qualification in social work, social care, psychology, or a related field is desirable. A management qualification is desirable. ● Experience with specific service user groups, people with learning disabilities and autism. ● NVQ Level 5 in management is required or willingness to work towards this. ● Substantial experience in a managerial role within a supported living setting. ● In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework, including CQC standards, safeguarding, procedures, and relevant legislation. ● Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of staff. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with residents, staff, and external stakeholders. ● A thorough understanding of person-centred care and experience in developing and implementing care plans. ● Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle complex situations effectively. ● Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation. ● Flexibility in working hours.
