Job Description – Private Personal Assistant / Carer (Self-Employed – Community Based) A reliable, caring and compassionate self-employed Personal Assistant/Carer is required to provide practical and personal support to an individual within their own home and the local community. Duties and Responsibilities: • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities., • Supporting with dressing, washing and personal hygiene where required., • Assisting with shopping, appointments and community outings., • Providing companionship and emotional support., • Helping with household tasks, meal preparation and light domestic duties., • Supporting independence, wellbeing and social activities., • Providing assistance with general day-to-day needs as required. Requirements: • Caring, patient, trustworthy and reliable., • Good communication and interpersonal skills., • Respectful of privacy, dignity and confidentiality., • Able to work independently and use initiative., • Previous care experience desirable., • Self-employed, responsible for own tax and National Insurance arrangements. The role is community-based and requires someone who is flexible, dependable and genuinely passionate about providing person-centred support while promoting independence, choice and quality of life.
