Job Title: Commercial Finance AnalystLocation: Doncaster (Hybrid – 2 days from home)Salary: Up to £40,000 per annumHours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (flexibility with start/finish times)Type: Permanent About the Role Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading business in Doncaster to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation in a commercially focused finance role, offering excellent exposure across multiple business channels and international markets. Key Responsibilities • Analyse sales, margin, cost of goods sold, inventory and freight, reporting on performance across business channels and countries, • Provide insightful commentary and reporting, including participation in conference calls, • Analyse customer rebates and pricing, highlighting variances and exceptions, • Support forecasting, budgeting and ROI analysis to drive commercial decision-making, • Assist with tenders and commercial proposals, including pricing and rebate analysis, • Identify and escalate commercial and financial risks, supporting mitigation actions, • Ensure accurate and timely product costing, reviewing overheads and cost allocations, • Partner with key stakeholders to support customer profitability and pricing strategy, • Drive improvements in commercial and financial reporting processes, • Support the Commercial Finance Manager with systems and process enhancements, • Fully or part qualified ACCA or CIMA, • Proven experience within a maufacturing environment, • Strong understanding of product costing, including imported/manufactured goods, • Exposure to foreign currency and group consolidation, • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, • Analytical and logical thinker with strong numerical ability, • Confident communicator, able to adapt style to different audiences, • Proactive and able to work on own initiative, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure, • A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset, • Study support following probation, • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off, • Hybrid working (2 days from home), • Bonus scheme, • Pension with matched funding, • Long service awards, • Recognition scheme
