The traineeship is completed in 4 easy steps, Step 1 - IOSH - Managing Safely Here you will learn about the basics of health and safety. Step 2 - NEBOSH Now you will decide whether you would like to study the NEBOSH General, Construction or the Fire Safety course, depending on the path that you intend your career to follow. You will have an expert tutor on hand if required. Step 3 - Risk Assessments You will write a series of risk assessments that need to be up to a workplace standard. This is a requirement to gain your NEBOSH certification. Step 4 - NEBOSH Exams The exams can be sat in one of the official NEBOSH testing centres, or online. (Online only currently available for general certificate). Your Job Upon Completion Once you have completed all of the mandatory training and exams, we will place you into an entry level health & safety role as either a advisor, officer or coordinator, where you will be guaranteed a starting salary of £25K-£45K. Purchasing Consultant This role is to strategically manage inventory levels across the US and UK marketplaces, sourcing new suppliers and maintaining relationships with current suppliers. You will be experienced in procurement across various international markets and platforms and speak multiple languages, including, but not limited to, English, Mandarin, Hindi and Gujarati. Duties and Responsibilities: • Identifying stock levels and shortages, making plans for purchasing options. • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers and maintaining strong supplier relations. • Negotiating purchase terms and conditions. • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements. • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns. • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings. • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records. • Working hours per week – 37.5 Job Type: Full-time Pay: £38,700.00 per year Benefits: • Work from home Schedule: • Flexitime • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote
