He is autistic, non verbal, has a movement disorder and epilepsy which results in regular seizures, a PEG for medication and fluids but eats some foods orally too. He needs Catheterization and Peristeen Irrigation. It would be a bonus if you had experience in these already. He can walk with support but is also a wheelchair user. He lives with his loving and supportive family, who recognize that his team of carers and support workers are instrumental in his overall development and well being. Overview of role: He requires an experienced waking night carer to join his team to assist with his bedtime routine and tend to all his needs throughout the night. This is an active night as you will need to keep a close eye on him, and following protocols if he has a seizure, supporting him with personal care, monitoring for any signs of distress, and In the mornings administering his PEG feed and medications. You will help sooth him when needed, making sure he is comfortable, and he can get as much rest as possible. All activity throughout the night is to be accurately documented. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities: • Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other specialized modalities. • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments to address specific concerns. • Create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for clients. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering excellent customer service. • Educate clients on self-care practices, such as stretching or relaxation techniques. • Stay current on industry trends, certifications, and techniques. Qualifications: • Certified Massage Therapist with a valid license (as required by local/state regulations). • Experience in providing a variety of massage techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic principles. • A commitment to client confidentiality and professionalism. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
