Live-In Personal Care Assistant for a History PhD StudentAsk Jules are recruiting on behalf of our client, a PhD History student based in Cheltenham. Our client suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and as such is a full-time wheelchair user with significant weakness in his arms. He is looking for a PA to assist with daily life.Start: October 2026Rota: Live-in 7 days on / 7 days offLocation: CheltenhamPay: £150 per day / £1,050 per week workedFree accommodation whilst on shiftNest Pension SchemeHolidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rataAn Automatic Driving Licence is a requirement, as you will be driving our clients automatic vehicle.About the JobThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody elses life. Our client is confident in his ability and lives in a student accommodation with the support of like-minded individuals to assist him with:- Personal Care Bathing, Dressing, Toileting.- Health Care Administrating medicine, using medical equipment.- Daily Living- Accompanying medical appointments- Social Support- Housekeeping / Domestic dutiesAbout the clientOur client is an outgoing and laid-back individual with a passion for live music and rock gigs. A huge fan of bands like Kasabian, Muse, Ben Howard, and Arctic Monkeys, he often attends concerts and would appreciate a PA who can join him. He also enjoys watching rugby and holds 6 Nations tickets, making match days a highlight for him. He also enjoys going out and socialising at a pub.An avid follower of current affairs, politics, and international news, Robbie values open-minded discussions and seeks a PA who can engage in thoughtful conversations.
