Job Title: Boutique Hotel Operations Manager Salary: £35,000.00 per annum About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy hotel operation. This role is key to ensuring smooth service across all departments while supporting business growth, particularly in food & beverage revenue and overall hotel performance. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily hotel operations across all departments, • Oversee Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage teams, • Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction, • Support cost control and contribute to budget and P&L management, • Work closely with the General Manager on staffing, scheduling, and team performance, • Take a hands-on approach to operations (approximately 50% operational involvement)Team Structure, • Reports directly to the General Manager, • Manages 6 direct reports, • Oversees a team of approximately 45 employeesSkills & Experience, • Background in hospitality, ideally as a Head of Department in Front of House or Food & Beverage, • Strong leadership skills – approachable but able to maintain control, • Experience with hotel systems such as Opera and Micros Symphony preferred, • Good understanding of operational and financial management, • Personal Licence (desirable)Working Pattern, • Business operates across weekdays and weekends, • Peak times include early evenings and weekendsWhat We Offer, • Competitive salary of £35,000.00 per annum, • Comprehensive training and development programmes, • Clear career progression opportunities, including fast-track development to General Manager level, • Health and wellbeing support, including wellness initiatives and mental health resources, • Employee discount on stays across company properties, • Recognition and reward programmes for employee achievements, • Flexible working arrangements where possible to support work–life balance, • Supportive, inclusive, and empowering team environmentAdditional Information, • Start date: ASAP, • Probation period: 3 months, • Interview process: Initial Teams interview followed by face-to-face meeting
