Are you an experienced Automatic Door Engineer looking for a stable field-service role with door-to-door pay, premium overtime, a company van and regular work across the Midlands? Automatic Door Engineer Location: Birmingham / Wolverhampton / Midlands Salary: £18 to £20 per hour, equivalent to £37,440 to £41,600 basic salary Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays and bank holidays Hours: Full-time, permanent Package: Door-to-door pay, company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, pension and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays HTL Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join its growing automatic door team, covering customer sites across the Midlands. This is a hands-on service, maintenance and repair role where youll be trusted to manage your workload, diagnose faults properly and deliver a professional service to customers. Since 2002, the business has completed more than 30,000 maintenance services and 5,000 repairs, helping customers keep their sites safe, operational and compliant. What youll be doing Youll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic doors across customer sites. The role will include planned maintenance, reactive callouts, fault diagnosis, repair work and completing electronic paperwork where required. Youll work closely with customers and the office team to make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and professionally. What were looking for This role would suit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer, Automatic Door Technician or Field Service Engineer with hands-on automatic door experience. Youll need: Experience maintaining and repairing automatic doors Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Full UK driving licence Good customer service and communication skills Knowledge of EN16005 requirements A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach ADIA / ADSA BS7036 / EN16005 accreditation would be highly desirable.
