You will be contracted to work 5 days week which can change from one week to the next. All new drivers are given one week’s training on a particular route with one/multiple experienced drivers to get them up and running (You will always have a tablet with you for navigation purposes and to instruct you how the customer requires delivery). Pay is hourly; however, the above sums are based on an average 8.5 hours shift. New drivers start at £13.00 per hour and can increase their wage to £15.00 per hour in 50p increments by learning multiple routes (The more you learn the more you earn) as if someone were to go sick or leave at short notice, you could cover that particular route.
