Digital Marketing Executive Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Workplace: In-office, 3 days per week Job Type: Part-time, permanent Reports to: Marketing Manager Office Address: Central Salisbury A small, growing digital marketing agency based in Salisbury is looking for a capable and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join the team on a part-time basis. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years of marketing experience who is confident supporting a range of digital marketing activity, including SEO, social media, email marketing, content updates and basic design work. Experience with Google Ads would be a strong advantage, though training can be provided where needed. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager while also taking responsibility for a small portfolio of clients, helping to manage their day-to-day marketing activity, organise tasks, deliver agreed work, and keep campaigns moving forward. This is an ideal role for someone who is ready to take ownership of client work, manage varied marketing tasks, and continue developing their skills within a supportive agency environment. This is an in-office role based in Salisbury, working 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities may include: • Managing a small portfolio of client accounts with support from the Marketing Manager, • Helping plan and deliver ongoing marketing activity for assigned clients, • Supporting SEO activity, including keyword research, page updates, meta descriptions, internal linking and content improvements, • Assisting with social media planning, content creation and scheduling, • Creating basic graphics and marketing assets using Canva or similar design tools, • Supporting email marketing campaigns and mailshots, • Helping update websites, blog posts and landing pages, • Assisting with Google Ads campaigns, reporting and basic optimisation where appropriate, • Preparing simple marketing reports and campaign updates for assigned clients, • Keeping client task lists, deadlines and deliverables organised, • Carrying out competitor research and market research, • Communicating progress, ideas and issues clearly to the Marketing Manager, • Helping identify opportunities to improve client campaigns and generate additional value You will ideally have: • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, digital marketing, SEO, social media or content-focused role, • A good understanding of SEO basics, • Experience creating social media content for business pages, • Strong written English and attention to detail, • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks across different clients, • A willingness to learn and develop across different areas of digital marketing, • A proactive attitude and the confidence to suggest ideas, • Good communication skills when working with colleagues and clients, • The ability to take direction, follow briefs and work independently once tasks are agreed, • Google Ads experience, • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms, • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console or similar tools, • Basic understanding of email marketing platforms, • Experience writing website content, blogs or social media captions, • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, project management tools, SEMrush or similar platforms, • An interest in AI search, GEO or emerging digital marketing trendsWhat We Offer, • Part-time, permanent role working 3 days per week, • Office-based role in central Salisbury, • Supportive working environment within a growing digital marketing agency, • Direct support and guidance from an experienced Marketing Manager, • Responsibility for a small portfolio of clients, with support and oversight, • Opportunity to work across a variety of clients and industries, • Hands-on experience in SEO, social media, paid search, content and digital strategy, • Training and development opportunities, • Company pension scheme through NEST, • Employer pension contribution of 4%, • 28 days’ holiday per year, inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata for part-time hours, • Birthday off (or an extra day of holiday if it falls on a weekend.), • Reasonable business expenses covered where pre-approved Exact working days and hours can be discussed during the interview process.
