Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Hertfordshire Salary: Up to £40,900 Contract: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Home Manager to join a well-established provider of high-quality residential care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or existing Deputy to take the next step in their career, supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care, promoting positive outcomes, and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities • Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures., • Lead, coach, and mentor a dedicated care team to deliver consistent, child-centred support., • Contribute to care planning and risk management to promote the wellbeing and development of each young person., • Assist in managing staff rotas, budgets, and administrative duties to ensure smooth service delivery., • Foster a positive, structured environment that supports young people to build resilience and achieve personal goals.
