Head of Procurement – Bids & Tenders London / Hybrid (2 days / week in London) £90,000 - £100,000 + car + 20% bonus Talent Drive are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Infrastructure business to hire a Head of Procurement within their Work Winning team. This is an exciting and impactful opportunity to join a dynamic organisation during a period of significant transformation and growth. This high-profile position will lead the integration of Procurement and Supply Chain Management within the bidding and estimating functions across the business. Reporting directly to the Group Director of Procurement & Supply Chain, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and delivering the P&SC strategy for work winning, ensuring best practices are embedded into every bid, and ultimately influencing the organisation’s ability to secure major projects. Key Responsibilities • Lead the strategic direction of Procurement and Supply Chain in support of bids and work winning activity across large scale Infrastructure projects., • Develop, manage and deploy high-performing supply chain professionals to support bid submissions, • Collaborate with bid teams to author compelling responses to P&SC technical questions, • Support pricing strategies, supplier engagement, and bid-to-delivery transition processes, • Ensure robust governance, risk management and supplier performance frameworks, • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing supply chain partners, • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain processes Key experience required: • Proven experience in a senior procurement leadership role, ideally within infrastructure or large-scale project environments, • Strong background in work winning, bidding, or estimating roles, • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, • Deep understanding of commercial contract negotiation and supplier management, • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and financial skills, • Infrastructure sector experience, particularly with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, • Experience delivering on ISO2040 and Scope 3 GHG reductions, • Understanding of category management and framework procurement practices
