Health & Safety Manager - £45,000 - £60,000 – Widmore, BR1 Are you an experienced construction Health & Safety professional ready to lead across live projects? Do you have strong knowledge of CDM 2015, RAMS and site compliance? Ammcass CE Group is a growing Principal Contractor delivering construction and engineering projects across the UK. The role We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop the company-wide H&S function across multiple live construction projects. This is a senior role with real influence. You will manage safety strategy, site standards, fire safety, compliance systems and day-to-day operational support. Key Responsibilities • Lead Health & Safety across multiple construction sites., • Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, including CDM 2015., • Develop and maintain H&S policies and procedures., • Lead on RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, site mobilisation and toolbox talks., • Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews., • Support Site Managers and operational teams with safe delivery., • Manage incident investigations, reporting and H&S documentation., • Oversee traffic management, logistics and emergency planning., • Act as Fire Safety Lead, including fire risk assessments and hot works controls., • Maintain the Operations Manual and compliance systems. The person You will need: • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent., • Strong knowledge of UK construction H&S legislation., • Experience with a Principal Contractor., • Proven experience managing H&S across live construction projects., • Excellent understanding of CDM 2015, RAMS, CPPs, audits and compliance systems., • Strong communication and leadership skills., • Full UK driving licence., • CMIOSH status, ISO 45001 experience, a Fire Safety qualification, or experience across commercial and residential projects would be useful.
