    HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS – PURFLEET, ESSEX We are looking for 2 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our transport operation based in Purfleet: 🚛 1 Day Driver 🌙 1 Night Driver Newly qualified drivers are welcome! PAY & SHIFTS • £220 gross per shift, • 5 or 6 shifts per week available, • Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday, • Additional weekend work available if wanted, • Choice of day or night work, • £25 extra night-out allowance THE WORK We mainly operate port traction work with curtainsider and refrigerated trailers, collecting from ports including Purfleet, Tilbury, Dagenham, Harwich and Felixstowe. Day shifts: Collect loaded trailer from port → deliver to customer → normally return empty trailer to port. Occasionally, a reload may be required before returning to the port. Night shifts: Mainly refrigerated trailers. Collect from port → deliver to customer → return empty trailer to port. 🏠 99% HOME EVERY NIGHT Our jobs are planned so drivers return to our Purfleet yard at the end of the shift and can go home. Very occasionally, a night out may be required due to operational circumstances. In this case, an additional £25 night-out allowance is paid. REQUIREMENTS • HGV Class 1 / C+E licence, • Valid Driver CPC, • Digital Tachograph Card, • Reliable and professional attitude, • Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph rules Port experience is an advantage but NOT essential.
