Graduate Technical Lead Pathway (Electrical Engineering Graduates) Location: BR6 8NL (office-based, with UK travel) Salary: Competitive, with rapid progression for top performers Reporting to: Commercial Director Salary: £30-35k pa About the role This is not a standard graduate role. Selectamark is looking for exceptional Electrical Engineering graduates with the potential to grow into Technical Lead / Technical Manager positions. From day one, you’ll be working on real, deployed security and monitoring systems, with direct exposure to senior management and business decision-making — not hidden away in a graduate cohort or shielded by layers of middle management. We are a 20-person, technology-led company. There are no silos, no handoffs, and no bureaucracy. You will work directly with senior management, including the Commercial Director and leadership team, contributing to technical decisions that affect products, customers, and the business as a whole. Despite our size, our technology is used by major retailers, banks, critical infrastructure providers, and law enforcement in the UK and overseas. Your work will go live in environments where reliability, safety, and performance genuinely matter. This role is designed for graduates who are technically strong, commercially aware, and comfortable operating close to senior leadership — and who want to accelerate into positions of real responsibility. What you’ll be doing You’ll gain hands-on engineering experience while working closely with senior management, seeing how technical decisions are made and owned at company level.
