The Role We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance across the business, working closely with and supporting the Head of HR. You will play a key role in managing employee relations, advising managers, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to influence and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and projects. Key Responsibilities • Support the Head of HR in delivering the HR strategy and business priorities., • Advise and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice., • Manage and support employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence)., • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes., • Contribute to HR policy development and implementation., • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making., • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation., • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Who you are You are a skilled HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of HR processes and employment law, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels. You are confident advising managers and thrive in a role that combines operational HR with project involvement. Key Skills and Qualifications • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a similar environment., • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice., • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Organised, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills., • Confident in handling employee relations cases from start to finish., • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
