    SOC Code: 4141 Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage daily administrative operations of the garage 2. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person 3. Schedule vehicle services, repairs, and MOT appointments 4. Maintain accurate records: job cards, invoices, payments, and customer files 5. Coordinate with parts suppliers and place stock orders as needed 6. Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory logs 7. Assist with staff rotas, timekeeping, and HR documentation 8. Liaise between mechanics, management, and customers to ensure smooth workflow 9. Prepare weekly/monthly performance and expense reports 10. Handle petty cash, office supplies, and cost control 11. Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain employee/customer confidentiality 12. Assist in health & safety recordkeeping and MOT-related compliance 13. Support payroll preparation and timesheet accuracy 14. Help onboard new staff and support internal training processes
