About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and personal growth. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialists, you’ll help create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, understood, and encouraged to succeed. You will: • Work closely with pupils to guide and support their learning journeys, • Assist teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons, • Prepare learning materials and lead small group or one-to-one activities, • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and physical development, • Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning, • Contribute to both classroom-based and outdoor learning experiences What We’re Looking For We’d love to hear from candidates who: • Hold GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications), • Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN setting, • Are adaptable, compassionate, and proactive in their approach, • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team, • Are confident supporting both structured learning and creative, outdoor activities Bradford Beacon School is a new specialist independent school for children aged 4–11 with autism, often alongside complex learning, communication, and sensory needs.
