The Client Our client is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator with a strong presence across the pharma and life sciences sector. They operate at the forefront of medical innovation, supporting diagnostic and treatment pathways worldwide, and are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic legal, regulatory, and compliance advice in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. The Role This is a broad in-house role offering exposure to a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters. You’ll act as a business partner to the commercial team, supporting growth initiatives and managing strategic agreements across the EMEA region. Key responsibilities include: • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including sales & supply agreements; licensing, co-development, and clinical trial agreements; sourcing and manufacturing contracts, • Advising on pharma compliance and regulatory issues in conjunction with specialist teams., • Supporting business development, M&A, and due diligence processes., • Managing outside counsel and ensuring effective budget control., • Delivering legal and compliance training to internal teams and distributors., • Providing specialist advice on local laws (e.g., public procurement, competition, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption). About You The ideal candidate will have: • England & Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent)., • 3–5 years’ PQE, ideally from a recognised law firm and/or in-house legal team (happy to consider outside of this)., • Solid experience advising on commercial contracts in the pharma, life sciences, or medical devices sectors., • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in highly regulated environments., • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
