As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be an integral part of a dynamic corporate law team, supporting clients in a wide range of business and commercial matters. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in corporate law while contributing to complex, high-value projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for: • Managing and assisting a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal advice to clients in collaboration with senior solicitors / lawyers., • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations., • Attend court hearings and client meetings., • Assist with due diligence, structuring of transactions, and preparing legal documentation for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and restructurings., • Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance., • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand your caseload and the firm’s corporate practice., • Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards., • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions., • Conduct legal research and analysis., • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients., • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director. Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge • A valid practicing certificate., • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills., • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office., • Ability to manage multiple cases and clients simultaneously., • Strong business acumen and understanding of the corporate environment., • Ability to work in a fast paced, client focused environment., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues., • Demonstrated ability to network effectively to develop and expand the department.
