Role Summary: This opportunity is ideal for a Private Client Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Joining an established Bedford-based team, you will handle a varied caseload while benefiting from mentorship (if required) and genuine progression opportunities. The firm actively supports career development, including progression towards STEP accreditation. Key Responsibilities: • Caseload Management: Handle a broad range of private client matters, giving you autonomy and file ownership, • Client Advisory: Provide advice on wills, trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection matters, strengthening your technical expertise, • Estate Planning: Support clients with tax-efficient estate planning, enhancing your specialist knowledge, • Mentorship: Opportunity to support junior colleagues, developing your leadership skills, • Court of Protection Work: Assist with applications and ongoing administration, broadening your experience, • Business Development: Engage in networking and client development, building your professional profile Requirements: • Qualified Solicitor (3 PQE+, though flexible), • Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection, • Ability to manage files independently, • Interest in working towards STEP accreditation, • Strong client care and communication skills If this role isn’t quite right, it’s still worth speaking to one of our specialist team — we may be working on something that hasn’t hit the market yet.
