My client is expanding and now seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Engineer who can also provide mobile breakdown cover during field engineer holidays. This role offers excellent earning potential, long-term stability, and specialist manufacturer training within a friendly, family-run environment. The Role As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of construction plant equipment to the highest standards, both in the workshop and on site when required. Key responsibilities include: • Servicing, diagnosing faults, carrying out PDIs, and completing damage repairs on plant hire equipment, • Attending breakdowns on construction plant machinery at customer sites when required, • Routine servicing and maintenance of equipment including Dumpers, Diggers, Telehandlers, Excavators, Rollers (JCB and similar), • Accurately completing all PDA and administrative work, including photographs of damage About You You will be a reliable, hands-on engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and being a valuable member of the engineering team.
