Job Profile - Architect- EG45625Location: EdinburghSalary & Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000 + Flexible Working Hours & Hybrid WorkingOur client, an award-winning Architectural Studio based in Edinburgh, is seeking an experienced Architect to join their growing team.The practice works across the Commercial, Residential and Leisure sectors, delivering a diverse portfolio of projects that include both new-build developments and the refurbishment of existing buildings. The studio is also involved in historic restoration and conservation projects, and any prior experience in this area would be highly advantageous.With a significant increase in Residential-led projects, the ideal candidate will have proven experience within the Residential sector and a genuine interest in continuing to develop their expertise in this area. The team works primarily in Revit and AutoCAD, therefore professional experience and a good working knowledge of both software packages will be essential.Architect Position Overview • Work across both design and technical stages, producing high-quality drawings and detailed technical information, • Prepare planning, detailed design and construction drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit, • Support the delivery of projects from early design through to construction and completion, • Develop coordinated technical solutions in line with project briefs, statutory requirements and best practice, • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, schedules and specifications, • Coordinate with architects, consultants and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant information, • Contribute to design development while maintaining a strong focus on buildability and detailing, • Ensure drawings and documentation comply with current Building Regulations and relevant standards, • Respond to technical queries during the construction phase and assist with design revisions as required, • Support the practice's quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing output, • Proven experience working as an Architect or within a design-led architectural practice, • Strong experience producing detailed drawings and technical packages using AutoCAD and Revit, • Background working across both design and technical stages of projects, • Previous experience within the Residential sector is highly desirable, • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and industry standards, • Experience coordinating technical information with consultants and wider project teams, • Ability to interpret project briefs and translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings, • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical delivery, • Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, • Competitive salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience), • 31 Days Holiday, • NEST Pension, • Flexible working hours, • 2 Days Hybrid working, • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, • Support for ongoing professional development and CPD, • Social Events
