Vacancy Title: Telesales Executive Location: Normanton WF6 Salary and Benefits: £25,000 + up to £10,000 OTE Headcount: 4 Hours of Work: Monday Friday, 08:00 17:30 (1 hour lunch) Contract Type: Permanent Reason for Vacancy: New roles Overview A well-established business supplies organisation is expanding and seeking Four Telesales Executives to join its Normanton office. This is a business-to-business role focused on developing existing accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and generating some new business, primarily via outbound telephone calls. Youll be part of a supportive team environment, with training provided and clear structure around progressing opportunities internally. Team and Working Environment Office-based role within the Normanton sales office. Working within a team of approximately 10 staff. The business is large and continuing to grow, offering potential for progression (a good question to explore at interview). Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Make outbound quality calls to existing, dormant, and prospective customers to drive sales. Develop existing accounts to maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling across multiple product ranges. Re-engage dormant/lapsed accounts and rebuild spend and relationships. Identify opportunities for new business and account growth. Interpret customer requirements and present tailored solutions. Maintain a proactive daily plan to achieve agreed KPIs and performance expectations. Work collaboratively with teams such as Sales, Customer Services, Credit Control, Inventory, Marketing, Product Management, Pricing, and Transport to support customer growth and service delivery. Sales Process Notes The focus is on quality calls and meaningful customer conversations rather than pure call volume targets. There is some new business element, however the role is mainly centred around current and dormant accounts (including upselling). Once a customer shows interest and the opportunity is identified/qualified, it is passed to the wider sales team for next-stage development. Growth and Business Update The company has recently acquired another business supplies organisation. Part of this role will involve introducing Vow/EVO to customers from the acquired business and supporting conversion and growth within that customer base. Person Specification Essential: experience in telesales, B2B sales, or account management. Confident communicator with a natural flair for sales and an active listening style. Resilient, consistent, and target-driven, with the ability to maintain momentum over time. Able to build trust and strong relationships without face-to-face contact. Organised and proactive, with the ability to structure and manage your day effectively. Desirable Experience working closely with internal departments involved in day-to-day customer management (Sales, Customer Services, Credit Control, Inventory, Marketing, Pricing, Transport, etc.).
