The majority of vacancies are for Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers, with opportunities across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dunfermline, Livingston, Peebles, St Andrews, the Scottish Borders, Hawick and Berwick. We are also recruiting for a Utility Metering Officer (known internally as Revenue Protection Officer) in Aberdeen. This is a separate field-based role focused on metering investigations, safety checks and supplier-led metering activity within residential and commercial properties. This role sits within our Metering team, the UKs leading provider of metering services in the energy retail sector. We deliver efficient and flexible gas, electricity and water metering services installing, maintaining and managing meters to ensure customers are billed accurately and safely. What will you be doing? As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, youll be exchanging traditional meters for smart meters, as well as responding to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of our energy supply partners, ensuring customers smart meters are working correctly. Our smart metering operations are built on long-standing supplier partnerships and a track record of continuous high performance, resulting in sustained contract growth and long-term opportunities for our engineers. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do. Youll: Complete installations safely and on time Explain the benefits and safe usage of smart meters to customers Typically complete around 5 jobs per day, with the opportunity to earn uncapped bonus on additional jobs Youll manage your day using a company tablet, with access to your schedule up to two weeks in advance, helping you plan ahead and stay in control. What youll bring A full UK driving licence, held for at least 1 year, with no more than 6 points CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience installing gas and electric smart meters MOCOPA experience to multi-rate level (desirable) Nice to have (but not essential): REGT1 (Medium Pressure) 3-phase qualification EUSR registration Whats in it for you?
