We're looking for a commercially astute, strategically minded Head of Pricing to take ownership of one of the most influential functions in our business. This is a rare opportunity to define and lead the pricing strategy for the UK's largest wholesaler, partnering with senior leaders across Trading, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technology and Analytics to drive growth and transform how we think about pricing. You'll be joining at a pivotal time where customer expectations are changing. Data and AI are creating new opportunities and competition is evolving. We need someone who can see around corners, challenge the status quo and turn insight into action. Defining and leading Booker's end-to-end pricing strategy Driving sales, margin and profit through smart, customer-focused pricing decisions Shaping the future of personalised pricing using data science and AI Protecting and strengthening customer price trust and perception Turning market and competitor insight into actionable commercial advantage Leading pricing governance, investment decisions and performance reporting Influencing senior stakeholders across Trading, Commercial, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Analytics and Technology Building a high-performing team while driving capability and change across the business You'll bring a strong commercial background and a track record of delivering results through pricing, category, buying or commercial strategy. We're particularly interested in people who have experience in: • Pricing strategy and transformation, • Commercial decision-making ideally in retail, wholesale or FMCG (preferred), • Customer and market insight, • Data-led decision making, • Leading and influencing senior stakeholders, • Driving change in complex, fast-paced environments Experience working with partners such as Dunnhumby, Nielsen, Circana (IRI) or Kantar would be advantageous.
