🧑 ⚖️ Role | Registered Manager 🎯 Areas | Learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, residential care ✨ Tech | Care planning systems, electronic MAR, compliance tools 📍 Based | S14 (Sheffield) 💻 Remote | On-site 💰 Offer | £50,000 - £70,000 Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 7-bed children’s residential home supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. The home provides round-the-clock support, including sleep-in staff and waking night cover, and focuses on delivering a safe, nurturing and stable environment that promotes positive outcomes for every child. 💥 As a Registered Manager, you will: • Lead and manage all operations within the 7-bed residential children’s home, • Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with regulations and quality standards, • Oversee high-quality, child-centred care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans, • Lead safeguarding practice, reporting and multi-agency coordination, • Promote education, independence and emotional wellbeing for all children in the home, • Recruit, train and supervise staff, promoting a consistent and supportive team culture, • Manage rotas, supervisions, appraisals and workforce performance, • Maintain a safe, stable home environment that meets all health, safety and therapeutic requirements, • Work closely with social workers, schools, health professionals and families, • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential or disability setting, • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards, • Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism or complex behavioural needs, • Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop a staff team, • Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience working with multi-agency partners, • Excellent organisational, communication and decision-making skills, • Competitive salary and benefits package, • Supportive senior leadership and access to further training, • Clear pathways for professional development, • A meaningful role making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children
