The ideal Electrical Technician will have the following skills and experience * Good electrical maintenance, electrician experience – worked as a electrical engineer, electrical technician, electro-mechanical technician, electro mechanical engineer roles or similar ideally in Plant, Production, large production process plant or high risk industry or similar * Engineering qualifications – apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical, HNC electrical, or electro-mechanical qualifications * Low voltage experience- essential * True willingness and long term commitment to be trained and developed on instrumentation and high voltage * Maintenance experience within the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil and gas, energy water, utilities, nuclear, hazardous live sites and refinery process plant, plant breakdowns or similar live /process plants * Full UK driving licence and own vehicle to get to remote site daily (site based role) * Full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship both now or in future Experience / knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX regulations, HV, High Voltage electrical systems, HV pressure lines is desirable but can be trained Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the purpose of this I&E maintenance technicians role is to carry out corrective (non routine) and preventative (routine) electrical & instrumentation maintenance, modifications and assisting operations at the production facilities.
