The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable, alongside a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Responsibilities • Safely operate flatbed and Hiab lorries (training available) to transport goods to designated locations., • Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption., • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all safety checks are completed thoroughly., • Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries., • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays., • Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout each journey., Experience, • Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, is preferred but training is available., • Strong knowledge of driving regulations within the UK, including tachograph rules and safety standards., • Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) and valid Driver CPC., • Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools is beneficial. Role Overview We are seeking a commercially minded and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead and deliver the company’s marketing strategy.
