Our Client: Jigsaw24 (Exclusive Recruitment Partnership) THE ROLE: This is a rare opportunity for a Management Accountant to join Jigsaw24's finance department during a particularly exciting period of modernisation and transformation . Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be a valuable addition to the team, working on day-to-day accounting tasks alongside an ongoing project of shifting from a "business as usual" method, to an innovative, commercially focussed, and insight driven approach. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with the Finance Manager and Financial Controller, supporting the modernisation of the department, including the longer-term project of updating the systems/processes. Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements. Prepare month-end reporting packs for both internal and external stakeholders. Departmental spend reporting, including review variances of budgets and forecasts. Group financial reporting across multiple businesses. Support statutory audits and tax analysis. Balance sheet reconciliations. Working capital and treasury reporting. Management of fixed asset capitalisation policies and reporting. Ownership of overhead accruals and prepayments calculations. Accounting for rebates, exchange gains and losses across all finance transactions SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Qualified Accountant, or qualified/working towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA . Strong and competent technical ability. Experience with Dynamix365 would be highly beneficial, but not essential. Experience and solid understanding of account reconciliation processes and variance analysis. Continuous improvement mindset & hands-on approach. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and confidence in influencing ways of working. Experience of services & support contract accounting, group consolidations and reporting. A proactive & positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
