Volunteer Fundraiser National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) specialises in helping victims of domestic abuse and violence obtain emergency injunctions against their perpetrators, as well as offering services to the Police, Probation Service and Domestic Abuse Agency Workers. We offer fast, free effective support to survivors of domestic abuse and violence by helping these people obtain the relevant injunctions to safeguard themselves from further abuse or violence. This is a free service provided to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances, sexual orientation, race, gender, age, political or religious beliefs. NCDV is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means we are a not-for-profit organisation. We have 2 arms to our organisation one being our Pro Bono Department helping those who do not qualify for legal aid funding and the other arm is an administrative support to our panel of solicitors across the UK. We support over 4,000 pro bono applicants each year obtain injunctions by helping them navigate their way through the legal complexities of the judicial system. The role We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic volunteer to lead and support our fundraising activities throughout the UK, by using your excellent communication skills and keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors and manage fundraising campaigns. Objectives of the role - Attend monthly fundraising steering group meetings - Pro-actively generate ideas for donations and fundraising - Assist in the development and delivery of a fundraising plan - Promote awareness of the organisations work and mission - Cultivate a network of dedicated donors - Form strong relationships with external stakeholders - Ensure donors are satisfied and kept in the loop The person - Exceptional communication and relationship building skills - Good analytical skills - Passion for researching - Good verbal and written communication NDCV will offer you all the necessary training and team members will help and support you when volunteering. Enthusiastic, friendly piano teacher required to represent us and work on a part-time self-employed basis to teach in students' homes. There are a number of students looking for an immediate start, but would build over the course of a year so we are looking for somebody to take a long-term approach to taking on new students. Depending on the candidate's availability, this could build to being around 15+ hours work. The majority of lessons would be taking place outside of school hours. This work would only suit somebody already living local to the Surrey area. Successful applicants will be asked to obtain DBS clearance for working with children. Your own vehicle will be required in order to access students' homes - we would be aiming to keep travel times short by assigning students near to where you live. Pay rates for lessons taught at students' homes are: £20.00 per 30 minutes £34.10 per 60 minutes On occasion, some lessons may end up being online in which case fees are reduced by £5.90 per lesson. At least one year teaching experience would be preferred, but we would welcome applications from those looking to gain experience too.

The Role Asset Management IFA Client Services/ Client Administrator/ Retail Client Operations – Surrey based (1-year’s Operations experience) Martis Search are representing a Surrey based Asset Management company to hire a permanent “Asset Management IFA Client Services/ Client Administrator/ Retail Client Operations.” In-our-opinion, they are one of the best boutique Asset Managers to work for in the UK. In essence you will be fully responsible for the end-to-end Client Operations support process. For example, the majority of their external clients for this side of this business are “Independent Financial Advisors”(IFA’s) and Retail clients, both sets of clients are all based in the UK (with an 80:20 % split heavily in favour of IFA clients). The IFA’s will bring in and introduce their book of Retail clients to the company’s Investment platform and the team are now supporting a brand new asset class called MPS (Managed Portfolio Services). So, the person will have daily contact on the phone, email etc with the IFA’s and Retail Clients. The role is really broad and varied and covers: Processing of new business/ Client Onboarding (and closing of new accounts for reasons such as bereavement, moving to an fund) Transfers In, Transfers Out. Client Services (answering all related queries directly with the clients on the phone, or email, or post for example relating to their investments, Client Onboarding, Client Offboarding, Bereavements, Transfers In, or Transfers Out). Managing external Transfer Agent. Administrative duties - including opening post, allocating work, managing queries. Cash & Stock Reconciliations. Maintenance of client records. Preparation and sending out of welcome letters and packs. Client Money/ CASS processing. Working closely with key internal stakeholders such as Sales/ Relationship Management, Risk, Finance & Compliance. Related Project Management. The successful incumbent will process and administer the firm’s Fund Manager’s business in a timely and accurate manner. They will monitor, oversee and process funds business on their internal/external platforms. The company have a very healthy track-record and $ AUM to match. You must either be from an Asset Management, or Wealth Management background and have a minimum of 2-3 of the tasks responsibilities above and having worked within IFA Wealth Management Operations (with the willingness and aptitude to learn more and take on more responsibilities within the Operations role). The company offer a hybrid mix of working-from-home and also in-the-office, but for the initial first three months you will be expected to go into the office full-time for on-the-job training.
