In this important position, you’ll act in a senior capacity within our Building Control team, providing a comprehensive range of professional services for Swindon Council. About You. As a Senior Registered Building Inspector, you’ll bring substantial relevant experience in the delivery and supervision of building control services, demonstrating a deep understanding of buildings within the scope of the Building Safety Regulator. You’ll be registered with the Building Safety Regulator at Class 3 Categories G-H and Class 2 Categories A-F and ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or possess equivalent demonstrable learning. You’ll be a member of a relevant professional body such as RICS, ABE, CABE, or CIOB. Your excellent understanding of building regulations and processes will be critical, alongside your ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical information.
