We are seeking a talented and passionate French Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in traditional French pastry techniques and a creative eye for presentation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of French pastries, including croissants, éclairs, macarons, tarts, and other desserts
Ensure high-quality presentation and taste
Follow classic and modern French pastry recipes
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Monitor inventory and place orders as needed
Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a pastry chef, preferably with French pastries
Solid understanding of pastry techniques, textures, and flavor combinations
Strong attention to detail and creativity
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays
