Job DescriptionSalary: $55,000 - $65,000 Job Title: Bilingual Payroll Administrator We are seeking an efficient bilingual Payroll Administrator to join our team and support our Human Resources Department, who will be responsible for processing the companys payroll. Tasks include collecting and verifying timesheets, ensuring that federal and state compliance rules are met and preparing weekly payroll. In addition, the ideal candidate will report to various government agencies according to prevailing wage laws. QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator, or relevant role minimum 2 years, • Experience with Payroll software, • Experience with Certified Payroll, • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular), • Proficient in data entry, • Thorough knowledge of federal and state compliance rules, • Knowledge in the construction industry preferred, • Associates degree in relevant field preferred, • Bilingual in English and Spanish SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects, • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills, • Demonstrates confidentiality, high integrity, and trustworthiness, • Demonstrates professionalism with employees at all levels of the organization, • Ability to think outside the box to help solve problems RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collects all timesheet data and payroll information from field and office personnel, • Reviews timesheets for accuracy, • Executes payroll data entry with the understanding of prevailing wage and certified job classifications, • Prepares weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees, • Prepares and remits all weekly Certified Payroll to various government agencies and general contractors, • Ensures accurate taxation and garnishment deductions are remitted in accordance with payroll compliance, • Makes adjustments in pay for raises and bonuses, • Researches and resolves all payroll discrepancies, reporting to management, • Other administrative and/or payroll duties as assigned This posting represents the general duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
