As a Product Designer on our mobile team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the Eight Sleep app, driving the design of engaging, intuitive, and seamless experiences that help users optimize their sleep and health. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, and Research & Development teams to craft high-quality, data-driven designs that balance aesthetics with usability. We don’t believe in rigid design silos. At many companies, product design is split into UX, UI, and other sub-disciplines. Here, it’s all in one. You should be an exceptional generalist who can move fluidly between information architecture, visual design, and interaction patterns, with an eye for both pixel perfection and real-world usability. As a key member of our small but growing design team, you'll have significant ownership over the app experience, ensuring that users can effortlessly track, understand, and optimize their sleep performance while maintaining long-term engagement with the Eight Sleep ecosystem. At a high level, the role encompasses three areas: Design: You’ll sit at the intersection of Design and Product, playing a key role in the end-to-end design and evolution of the Eight Sleep app. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of product design, from information architecture and low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, and everything in-between. Validate: You’ll conduct usability studies and user interviews to inform design work, and work closely with our in-house customer discovery squad.
