This position is responsible for creating a clear scope of work and creative design concept to secure project contracts as well as managing the client experience throughout the pre-sale, design and preconstruction phases. The Designer will manage project costs from the initial consultation through the pre-construction phase; create a clear scope of work within a reasonable budget to obtain the client’s approval and secure a signed project contract. The Designer is responsible for managing a minimum of 4-7 active (presale through preconstruction phases) projects at a time. Additionally, the Designer supports the Project Directors during the construction phase by contributing to job site walk throughs, communicating with skilled craftsmen and clients and problem-solving design-related issues as they arise during the construction phase.
