Job Description Responsibilities: • Creates instructions for machinists, • Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints and shop drawings, • Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut, • Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing program, • Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests, • Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software, • Determines sequence of operations in a program, • Chooses cutting tools that will be needed, • Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations, • Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency, • Analyzes and selects speeds and cuttings tools for programs, • Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes, • Simplifies tooling times for workers and increases productivity for clients, • Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client, • Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task Qualifications: · Experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC mills · Familiarity with WoodWop 7 · Familiarity with both Biesse and Homag/Weeke · Familiarity with the following operating systems: B Solid, Cabinet Vision, Mozaic · Must have superior computer programming skills · Must have excellent reading comprehension skills · Good Math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics · Must have good problem solving skills · Must have excellent time management skills · Must have good organizational and planning skills · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills · Must be mechanically inclined · Strong Attention to detail · Must have the ability to write and read complex spreadsheets · Must have the ability to read blueprints · Capable of standing for extended periods of time · Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time · Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee transportation engineering projects, ensuring their successful execution and delivery to clients. Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise transportation engineering projects, including highway design, traffic engineering, roadway improvements, transportation planning, and airport design. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and building strong relationships., • Provide technical expertise and quality reviews in the areas of highway design, and protection of traffic, transportation planning, and/or any combination thereof., • Report on project staffing needs, including, but not limited to, recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff., • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies., • Prepare project budgets, schedules and specifications for labor and materials., • Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with project objectives., • Prepare and review project deliverables, including reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates., • Manage project budgets and finances, including tracking expenses, approving invoices, and ensuring cost control measures are in place., • Support and participate in the development and mentorship of staff., • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in transportation engineering.Qualifications:, • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Professional Engineer License in New York and/or New Jersey is required, or ability to obtain within 6 months., • 10+ years minimum transportation design experience.
