Summary of the Role The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for managing Electrical Engineering projects from conception to completion. The candidate will lead a team of Project Engineers and Designers. The candidate will apply their experience in electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and overall MEP design. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, they will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers. They will be responsible for fully planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to project parameters for deliverables, schedules, and budgets for assigned clients. They will be required to oversee the quality aspects and technical support for projects throughout various industry markets. They will provide financial analysis and financial reporting for projects and Clients. Responsibilities • Lead client communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals., • Understand contracted scope of work and identify project scope changes and communicate accordingly with Client., • Initiate and finalize internal scope and fee pricing exercises. Evaluate and provide overall fees and financial metrics for Director approval., • Create client proposals inclusive of all disciplines and issue to Client, • Lead and oversee the work of multi-disciplined project teams from design development through contract documents, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and schedule compliance., • Drive internal coordination, establish QA/QC milestones, and confirm deliverables meet quality standards., • Participate in business development opportunities and provide RFP support, including market research. The following qualifications will help you succeed in the role: • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, • 10+ years of combined electrical design, project management, and team leadership experience, preferably within commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, and/or convenience stores., • PE License preferred, but not required, • Revit, MS Office required, AutoCAD is a plus, • Arc Flash/Short Circuit experience is a plus Work Location This can be either a remote or hybrid (1 or 2 days a week in the office) position based out of the following Core States Group Offices: Somerville, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; West Chester, PA, Burlington, MA; or Charlotte, NC offices. If remote, must live in NJ, PA, MA, or NC.
