Duties & Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the HR department, maintaining organized records and schedules., • Assist with new hire onboarding processes, including preparing new hire packets, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed., • Support payroll assistance functions by collecting, verifying, and processing timekeeping data and other payroll-related information., • Manage and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations., • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex issues as needed., • Assist with recruitment support activities, such as posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates., • Contribute to HR operations support by assisting with various projects, data analysis, and report generation., • Utilize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for data entry, reporting, and employee self-service management., • Coordinate HR-related events and meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing logistics., • Support compliance efforts by assisting with the preparation and maintenance of HR-related documentation and reports., • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures, identifying areas for efficiency and enhancement., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a Human Resources department., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)., • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively., • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional and approachable demeanor., • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping., • Basic knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices., • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Preferred Qualifications, • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field., • Prior experience with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS)., • Certification such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional), or an HR Management Certificate., • Experience in a temporary-to-permanent role, demonstrating adaptability and commitment., • Familiarity with California labor laws and regulations.
