Job DescriptionDescription: The RDH is in a special position to provide our patients the most important health service: ongoing preventive oral care by cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth to prevent gum disease. Essential Duties: • Records treatment information on the patient's chart, including treatment rendered, the type of treatment planned and the amount of chair time, doctor time and assistant time needed for next appointment, • Takes radiographs as directed by the doctor, • Records evaluation of periodontal conditions, occlusal relations and extent of prophylaxis on dental chart to ensure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment plan by the dentist, • Provides customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment room, • Administers Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen to patients as applicable, • Applies non aerosol and non caustic topical agents and pit and fissure sealants, • Removes excess cement from supragingival surfaces of teeth, • Assists doctor during clinical exam and record findings and recommendations, • Performs oral cancer exam on all patients, • Scales, polishes, and applies fluoride to patient’s teeth, • Prepares all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing and sharpening all instruments, cleaning hand pieces and room, restocking supplies, • Inspects patient’s oral cavity and charts lesions, existing restorations and missing teeth, • Evaluates gingival health and health of all oral tissue, • Executes root planning and Myofunctional evaluations, • Educates patients on the importance of preventative care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provides appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care, • Cleans restorations and appliances (partials, dentures, etc.), • Schedules patient’s next treatment appointment or communicates with appropriate staff to ensure this is done before patient leaves the practice, • Implements and monitors recall system; contacts patients who are overdue for a recall, • Valid X-ray certificate, • Current RDH license, • Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, • 401(k), • PTO and Holiday pay

Job Description Part-Time Seasonal Assistant Event Manager ABOUT MIDTOWN EVENTS, LLC: Midtown Events is dedicated to planning and producing events that enhance the sense of community at North Hills, a mixed-use development located in Midtown Raleigh. These Special Events host a wide variety of guests. Position Summary: Assist in the implementation of events through organized and efficient means while adhering to property policies and procedures. Function as part of the onsite events team for Midtown Events in an effort to ensure events are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard. This is a seasonal contract position that will feature a hybrid schedule based on event needs (Beach Music Concerts, Music Fest, Tree Lighting and as needed). Duties & Responsibilities: • Assist other Event Managers in the implementation of signature events to include set up and breakdown duties., • Ensure all details of events progress according to the event plan that has been established by Events Team., • Onsite assistance with event vendors and performers as assigned for Midtown Events concerts and festivals., • Ensure that production timelines and site maps created for individual events are followed and to troubleshoot as required., • Collaborate on-site with property departments including Kane Public Safety, Midtown Property Services and Midtown Events interns., • Organize special event equipment required per event and perform pre-production and post=production duties as needed., • Collaborate with MPS Maintenance as needed for equipment repairs. Communicate supplies and equipment orders as needed., • Preferably 2-3 years' experience in event production and management., • Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and production equipment (AV, power, and other special event equipment as needed)., • Must be able to physically move or lift up to 50lbs., • Basic computer skills required., • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are important; Adaptability is a must., • Must be detail oriented as strong organizational and effective time management skills are required., • Excellent communication and conflict management skills are necessary.
