Familiarity with CobbFendley’s QA/QC Management System., • Skills including use of industry-standard computer software for the position (i.e., software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and Hydrologic/Hydraulic models). 1. Design + Analysis // • Complete entire design and analysis for a simple project, ensure latest manual and criteria are being met, sign and seal plans., • Work with project team to ensure tasks design and analysis tasks are coordinated. 2. Compliance + Quality // • Adhere to Company QA/QC processes and procedures and review work by others. Understand general contract language and risk assessments and mitigation. 3. Communication + Collaboration // • Work with supervisor, project manager, task leads, and various internal personnel to complete assignments within discipline and other disciplines., • Lead meetings and follow up documentation. 4. Training, Learning + Advancement // • Attend internal or external training., • Assist with onboarding and training various types of staff. 5. Client + Internal Satisfaction // • Work with clients daily, problem solve issues and escalate concerns when needed., • Set and adhere to project schedule, attend client meetings, assist with marketing and project interviews, general understanding of financial management to ensure profitability. 6. Technical // • List Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in all aspects of various utility-based projects., • Prepares utility relocation schedule and tracks project deliverables. Request for as-builts from utility owners., • Set up and maintain electronic files for received utility records., • Assist in interpreting various Subsurface Utility Engineering quality level data in order to analyze utility conflicts and develop concept plan., • Assist in preparing cost estimates., • Assist in setting up and maintaining project electronic files., • Assist in developing/maintaining project schedules., • Assist in maintaining client exhibits (KMZ & GIS) which define project scope of work., • Assist in coordinating field investigation requests., • Assist in reviewing design drawings (QA/QC)., • Assist in reviewing permit drawings (QA/QC)., • Assist in reviewing GIS geodatabase deliverables (QA/QC)., • Assist in updating internal and client project trackers., • Assist in keeping abreast of design changes from clients., • Assist in responding to design questions from CAD Technicians., • Assist in responding to requests from clients., • Assist in the preparation of contracts, fee proposals, scopes of work, and invoices., • Prepare utility progress reports. Prepare utility relocation schedule and tracks project deliverables., • Prepare utility adjustment agreements., • Organize and attend utility owner meetings., • Learn and maintain knowledge of client standards, rules, and requirements for planning, construction, and documentation., • Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities., • Work with minimal supervision and deliver accurate work product., • Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment., • We Collaborate // with a professional attitude making communication a priority., • We Commit // to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment, with a focus on accountability. Selective attention, oral comprehension, oral expression, speech recognition, speech clarity, written comprehension, written expression, problem sensitivity, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, number facility, information ordering, category flexibility, flexibility of closure, fluency of ideas, and originality., • Office Conditions. Includes extensive use of electronic devices such as computers, printers, copiers, scanners, plotters, and telephones. Additionally, tasks may involve the use of cutting tools and equipment like rotary paper cutters and plotting devices., • Outdoor Conditions. Includes walking and climbing on uneven surfaces, confined spaces, and exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat and freezing temperatures). Potential exposure to high noise levels and various allergens, including poison ivy, sumac, dust, pollen, and cedar. Potential exposure to wildlife hazards such as animals, insects, and plants., • Safety and Equipment Use. Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, along with use of hand and power tools., • This is a full-time position, generally 40 hours per week, however, hours may fluctuate depending on department needs including the use of overtime.
