American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Work in a hospital MRI department with responsibilities including direct patient care and imaging procedures, • Flexible 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, scheduled from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, • May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital, • Cerner is used for EMR charting and documentation, • Perform MRI exams under the supervision of radiologists, following established protocols, • Assist radiologists during procedures and supervise student MRI technologists, • Provide patient education and ensure informed consent is obtained when required, • Efficiently utilize imaging equipment and promote cost-effective supply usage, • Complete annual mandatory in-services and maintain required licensure, • Strict adherence to hospital and departmental safety guidelines including ALARA principles for radiation safety, • Frequent exposure to stressful conditions, possible weekend, holiday, and call work as required by the department, • All travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year; must take a 30–60 day break before returning, • Travelers are expected to report to the lab for drug screen within 24 hours of commit and allow at least two weeks for background and screening results\n \n Requirements\n, • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) required, • Active SC or compact state license required if applicable, • Graduate of an accredited Allied Health education program, • Prefer experience in cross-sectional anatomy or prior MRI experience, • Ability to meet physical demands including frequent standing, lifting, moving patients up to 50 lbs, and exposure to healthcare environment hazards, • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
