We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional care during intrapartum and high-risk antepartum and postpartum phases. You will be part of a team that handles an average of 20 births in 24 hours and conducts 30-40 admissions, meeting the needs of diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities: • Circulate in the Operating Room for Cesarean sections and provide immediate newborn care., • Conduct sterile vaginal exams and manage high-risk obstetrical patients (16 weeks and greater)., • Facilitate outpatient procedures such as antenatal fetal surveillance, intravenous hydration, and medication administration., • Offer expert care in a busy environment, prioritizing patient safety and quality care., • Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more., • Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience; 3 years preferred., • Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment., • Competence in immediate newborn care and sterile practices., • Current certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate or AWHONN Advanced, and NRP., • Must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to affiliate locations as needed., • Contracts available for 13 to 26 weeks., • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays and every other weekend minimum of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule.
